Hey there,

Your Go-To Resource for Kids' Emotional Development

I'm Niki B!

"What to Expect when You're Expecting", "The Happiest Baby on the Block",  the list goes on and on. But I found there was a gap, somewhere between when to begin baby-led feeding, sleep schedules, and realizing that we have tiny individual beings. Each with their own autonomy and needs in a world that isn't always easy to navigate.

As a Kids' Emotional Intelligence and Resiliency Coach, I am a passionate advocate for educating our kids and providing them with the knowledge, skills and tools to ignite their intrinsic ability to know they can handle whatever life throws at them.

With a deep understanding of the challenges tweens and families face in today's fast-paced world, I am dedicated to empowering kids to navigate their emotions, develop essential skills, and thrive in the face of life's adversities.

Through my personal journey and professional expertise in teaching and coaching kids (and adults) of all ages, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of emotional intelligence and resilience by improving mental well-being and fostering healthy relationships.

My mission is to provide a supportive space where we can explore practical tools, insightful strategies, and empowering stories to help you and your loved ones flourish.

"The tween years are a pivotal chapter where curiosity ignites, identity unfolds, and the foundation for future dreams is built. Embrace this unique journey, for it is where young minds begin to shape their own remarkable stories."

As a mom-to-be, I read          the books.

Where Was That Instruction Manual?!

-Niki B

It’s the twilight of childhood, a uniquely transformative period where children transition from the carefree days of early youth to the more complex world of adolescence. This stage is crucial for building self-confidence, discovering passions, and identifying strengths.

It’s a time to celebrate their curiosity and creativity, allowing them to play, be silly, and explore new interests with enthusiasm. Additionally, it’s an ideal moment to strengthen family bonds and improve communication, laying the groundwork for a supportive and understanding relationship as they navigate their teenage years.

By embracing and guiding this special time, we provide our tweens with the tools and confidence they need to confidently step into the next chapter of their lives.

I love helping tweens strengthen their emotional development by aiding them in achieving their goals, while at the same time, teaching them to manage the stresses of everyday life.

So What's So Special About the "Tween" Years?

 I'm So Glad You're Here!

I BELIEVE IN:

The magic of rainbows, fairies and fireflies, the strength of a village when raising a child, meaningful conversations, being kind, living each day to its fullest, finding the beauty around you, and the power of gratitude.

I'm NOT ABOUT:

Small talk, violent films, rude people, closed mindedness, narcissists, passive aggressive behaviors, dishonestly and overcooked brussel sprouts.

YOU CAN FIND ME:

Traveling the world, watching gorgeous sunsets, teaching my kids, cooking, baking cookies, on my yoga mat, at the gym or on the beach, dreaming my world alive.

daily rituals:

First one up, gratitude journal, morning meditation, cuddles with my amazing kids. Workout, listen to podcasts. Sit by the water, reading to my kids, make memories, prayers under the stars, feet on the earth.

Emotional intelligence is not just about managing negative emotions; it also involves cultivating positive emotions, such as gratitude, kindness, and joy.
